Our compliance reviews are integral to maintaining high standards of data handling. We work closely with Cifas members to support them in training their teams and recording data appropriately.

In 2016 we introduced and piloted a new compliance process that is based on:

A greater focus on

REGULAR FEEDBACK
Any issues will be highlighted and best practice shared more frequently

BETTER INSIGHTS
Dedicated Best Practice Managers now able to share sector insight and comparisons.

SIMPLER PROCESSES
Such as uploading cases for review directly into a custom-built Review section in FIND.

Compliance review outcomes for 2016

From 2017, Members will be found to be either 'compliant' or 'non-compliant' following each e-Review. Cifas Best Practice Managers work with members to resolve issues relating to non-compliance. If issues remain unresolved Cifas will continue to reserve the right to suspend membership until there is confidence that the organisation is meeting its responsibility as a Cifas member.
